The Guilty Pleasures aesthetic has always embraced the glamour and excess of 1970s and early 80s pop culture. Drawing inspiration from airbrushed advertising imagery of the era and classic album sleeves, we developed a visual identity that leans into nostalgia while feeling larger than life. We worked on the original Guilty Pleasures album, its follow-up, and all promotional materials surrounding the brand — creating a world that celebrates the joy of pop music without irony. The covers capture the sheen and vibrancy of the era’s most iconic visuals, from soft-focus lighting to rich, saturated colours. Most recently, we updated the key imagery for Guilty Pleasures’ latest party at KOKO Camden, evolving the brand while staying true to its roots. A visual love letter to the era of pop excess.
